Troy is an LLB (Hons) graduate and soon to be LPC MSc graduate from The University of Law, and he is currently applying for training contracts. Troy is particularly interested in all aspects of commercial and corporate law, predominantly complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and contentious regulatory work.
During the LPC Troy took electives in Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Debt Finance and Employment Law. Alongside writing Business Law Case studies for his MSc, in which he gained a Distinction. Troy also gained his highest result: 90% in Conduct.
His ambition is to work for a firm that has both the clients and its people’s interests at the very heart of everything it does. His passion lies in the relationship he can build with both the clients and his peers, believing that putting the clients’ interests first is paramount to building a successful and long-standing relationship.
Troy has a passion for Pro-Bono work immersing himself in commercial opportunities during his time at ULaw, such as working for the Citizens Advice, the Legal Triage Clinic and The National Centre for Domestic Violence. He has also shadowed Judges in the Crown Court and sat with magistrates in the County Courts. Further to this, Troy has gained further experience most recently participating in the Legal Cheek virtual vacation scheme and the Bright Network Commercial Internship. He was also nominated by the CEO of his part-time employer for the prestigious UK101 Leadership internship, which promotes emerging business leaders in the United Kingdom.
Troy is also a keen advocate for ending the stigma around mental health. Using his experiences, he openly documents his journey in the hope others may resonate and are encouraged to seek help and talk openly about their own experiences.

Societies, Charities & Affiliations
Troy is the Chairman of a Youth Club for Surrey Clubs for Young People. He is also a ‘Scam Champion’ for Hampshire County Council, regularly giving talks around the county raising the awareness of scams and criminal activity. Troy is also a class rep for the LPC.
Outside of Law, Troy has a passion for Powerlifting, competing at a National level.
